The Coast Guard was founded on August 4, 1790 and has been ready at the helm for 228 years now. USCGC Eagle, formerly the Horst Wessel and also known as the Barque Eagle, is a 295-foot barque used as a training cutter for future officers of the United States Coast Guard.
